Hi Moms!
When I get really motivated (and both my kids are napping – ha!) I sit down at my computer and attempt to plan some fun activities. I get my coffee, tighten my ponytail and away I go navigating from website to website painstakingly trying to fill my calendar with some fun activities for my toddler (and baby!). I stay home with my kids so I have a lot of days to fill and where better to get out of the house than in Southern California? This strategy works great… for a week or two. Then I’m back to trying my hardest to remember exactly where my friend at the park told me was the BEST place to go (and that fits our napping schedule) or what exactly was the name of the Preschool she told me about. And now I have to wait until next Thursday where I hope she shows up at the park again!
Out of this very frustration, My Busy Days was born - a place to gather all the valuable information passed back and forth on the playground! Since putting activities on your own calendar is time-consuming and takes up tons of space (especially if you want choices), I thought having an outside calendar dedicated to just these types of activities would be great. Adding a listing of Places to Go, Preschools, and Swim Schools with reviews seems like a wonderful way for moms to share their views and ideas. I hope you enjoy My Busy Days and get inspired to get out and explore your community and have lots of fun to boot!
