Grab a vine and swing on over to Scooter’s Jungle. The small lobby
has a few toys and some fun-house mirrors to keep kids occupied before they enter the main play room. In the play room palm tree murals add to the
tropical theme ambiance. Your little monkeys will go bananas! There are two
huge inflatable bounce structures in here; one is a twenty-foot-high slide
and the other is hard to explain. The second huge bounce forms a V-shape in
its middle. Kids (or adults) climb up the small inflatable steps on either
side to slide down in the middle, or (and this is the popular choice) grab
the rope and just swing back and forth over the chasm until they drop. The
ratings for this bounce go off the scale! There is a smaller bounce for
younger kids.
Note: Socks are required for all bounces. Another fun and
unique feature is the small super ball room. Participants don helmets and
goggles and just go into the room and throw super balls all around. Sounds
simple, but they love it. The play room also has an air hockey table,
foosball table, and ping pong.
An adjacent party room has long tables and chairs and a throne for
the birthday child. Although Scooter’s is mostly open for private parties,
the once-a-month Family Fun nights are open to the public (and you may
purchase pizza by the slice for $2), as are the three-hour drop-off sessions
for ages 6 to 13. This session includes pizza and a beverage. Catch jungle
fever and visit Scooter’s Jungle!
We really enjoyed this indoor play spot. The huge inflatable slide was a ton of fun. My 2.5 year old hiked up all by himself and laughed himself silly while going down. My baby rode down on my lap and i have to say we BOTH really enjoyed it! They have cute picnic tables in the lobby so bring a lunch! When we first arrived only one room was open so i thought it was too small but they soon opened another large room with different inflatables and my kids truly had a blast here (especially for $7!). We will definitly go back.
