At Waterworks Aquatics, we pride ourselves on teaching the basics needed to learn the necessary skills to become a comfortable, efficient swimmer right from the beginning. A good swimmer is one who can move through the water in an efficient and almost effortless manner. To achieve the strength, endurance, and flawless technique of a true athlete, one must begin with a solid, foundational program that emphasizes buoyancy, breath control, and proper stroke development, coupled with basic water safety skills.

Waterworks Aquatics offers such a program that takes each student from one step to the next, without skipping crucial skills or giving children a false sense of security in the water. We have chosen to share our love of swimming with children and believe there is a swimmer in every child. With a supportive atmosphere and child-centered approach, children are encouraged to have fun in the water while improving their skills.

Serves ages 6 months & up

We had both our boys enrolled in lessons here since they were 6 months old (on and off). Tate is 3 and Chase is 16 months now. We had terrible experiences with the administration there. Basically, it's a bunch of young college (maybe high school) students who have no idea what's going on within their organization. Having said that, we have had some really good instructors. But then again, we always requested specific people. Ian is great for the older private lessons and I highly recommend Andrea for the younger ones. They are also doing construction work right now to expand their facilities which will be nice because it can get crowded during certain hours on saturdays.

I took my 3yr old daughter here for 2 years. She did learn to swim with semi private lessons from Miss Christine. They are a great facility with the best heated pool. I liked the swim meets which they have on saturdays.. Children as young as 2 1/2 can join in! It is really fun to watch & a great way to motivate kids to swim. I did not like the administrative side. They take forever to book a missed class & the scheduling is crazy!

The facilities are great and location is awesome for me. We took our daughter there 3 years in row and our son one year and they still can't swim. Then at the end of the summer we enrolled her in a city sponsored class for 2 weeks for almost free and she could swim. It could have been timing and her age, but Waterworks is really expensive if the results don't coorelate to the training. Perhaps on a more advanced level they would be good, but for the $$$ we will be utilizing the city facitlites this summer.
